Description

The Mitchell Lightening is a 57in two-piece maple cue with a lightning design that flashes on impact — a light in the butt triggers when the cue strikes the ball. It is aimed at younger players and social tables rather than serious match play.

Underneath the effect it is a normal maple cue: a pale, close-grained shaft that runs smoothly through the bridge hand, and a 9mm glue-on tip, the narrower diameter used for eight ball. Because it plays like a standard cue, it works as a first cue for a junior player rather than something they will outgrow the moment they take the game seriously.
