Cue Tips
The tip is the only part of the cue that ever touches the ball, which makes it the single component with the most influence on how a cue plays — and the easiest to upgrade.
There are three fittings here and the choice is straightforward. Glue-on tips are the standard for most cues and give the most direct feel. Screw-in tips thread into the ferrule and swap in seconds with no glue or tools. Push-on tips fit over the ferrule and are the quickest of all, which suits venue and house cues. Hardness is the other decision. A softer tip grips the ball more and generates spin readily, which suits touch and positional play. A harder tip transfers more energy and holds its shape far longer, which suits breaking and powerful play.
Premium leather tips from Kamui and Taom hold their shape and chalk exceptionally well, while Elkmaster and Brunswick are proven club-level tips at excellent value.
