Rests
Rests turn an unplayable shot into a playable one, which makes them among the most useful accessories a table can have.
Each head does a different job. An X rest is the everyday one, supporting the cue for shots just out of comfortable reach. A spider lifts the cue high to play over an obstructing ball. A swan neck reaches further still, extending over the pack to bridge a shot deep in the table. Brass heads are the traditional choice and take years of use without wearing. Moulded heads are lighter and kinder to the cloth, and are what most home tables use.
Rest handles are stocked separately, including two-piece 57 inch handles that break down for transport — useful for players who bring their own rest to a venue.
