About Cue Store
Cue Store is an independent cue sports retailer based in Belmont, Western Australia. We stock pool and snooker cues, cases, balls and accessories, and every order is picked, packed and dispatched from our own warehouse.
How it started
Cue Store is the second store we built. The first was Darts Online, started from scratch in 2021 by three directors: Andy, Alex and Paul. That one began in a small storage unit, with stock driven to the office in the back of our own cars and orders packed on office tables, until the pallet deliveries turned the building foyer into an unofficial loading dock and we moved into a proper warehouse.
Why cue sports
Darts came first because the Australian market was being underserved: limited range, poor product information, and a long wait on anything ordered from overseas. Once we had fixed that for darts, we kept hearing the same complaints from pool and snooker players. Cues sold with no specs listed. No real choice between tips, tapers or weights. Serious players ordering from the UK because nobody here stocked what they wanted. It was the same problem in a different sport, so we opened Cue Store and applied the same approach.
Where we are now
Cue Store has collected over 2,000 customer reviews, and across both our stores we have shipped more than 90,000 orders since 2021. The team is small and everyone has a specific role:
- Alex — purchasing, and the person who answers the phone. Ring us about tip size, cue weight or ball sets and you're speaking to Alex.
- Andy — operations and the website.
- Paul — logistics.
- Bek — customer service enquiries.
- Jade and Geoff — the warehouse. They pick and pack every order that leaves the building.
Every order ships from Belmont, including New Zealand orders. We hold our own stock and pack it ourselves, so there is no drop-shipping and no third-party fulfilment in between.
What we stock
We carry Aramith, Powerglide, Formula Sports, Mitchell, Palko, Grafex, Cuetec, Barracuda, Dufferin, Taom, Kamui, Diamond, Master and Triangle, plus officially licensed AFL and NRL ranges.
- Cues: 1-piece, 2-piece, 3/4 split, and break and jump cues
- Cue construction to suit how you play: ash, maple, hardwood, timber, graphite, fibreglass and carbon fibre
- Cases for 1-piece, 2-piece and 3/4 split cues, plus ball cases
- Balls: snooker, billiard, kelly pool, casino and cue balls, in every standard size from 1 7/8" to 2 1/4"
- Accessories: chalk, tips, extensions, rests, gloves, triangles, racks and stands, scoreboards, cleaning and cue maintenance gear, and table covers
We stock everything for the table except the table itself.
How we work
