The Mitchell 2-Piece Heavy Duty Tube Cue Case is a black vinyl tube case that holds two butts and four shafts. That is a serious carrying capacity — enough for a playing cue, a break cue and spare shafts in one case.

The tube format is chosen for exactly this load. A round shell distributes impact around its circumference rather than flexing at a flat panel, so a heavy case stays rigid when it is stood on end, leaned on or knocked in transit. Keeping shafts in separate channels also stops them rubbing against each other, which is how a shaft picks up marks along the section the bridge hand runs over.
