Description

The Formula Sports A07 is a 57in two-piece ash cue with a coloured inlay in the butt and a rubber bumper at the base. It sits in the standard ash line, which covers players who want a real ash shaft without the price of a hand-spliced cue.

The 10mm blue tip is glued on rather than screwed, which puts the leather in direct contact with the ferrule and gives a firmer, more predictable strike than a screw-in fitting — the reason glue-on tips are standard once a player moves past a basic house cue. A brass ferrule takes the impact load away from the shaft timber, and the cue is medium weighted, the middle of the range for general play.
