Description

The Formula Sports A08 is a 57in two-piece cue built on an ash shaft, with a coloured inlay through the butt and a rubber bumper at the base. Ash is the traditional snooker and billiards shaft timber, and its visible grain gives a player a straight line to sight along.

A 10mm glue-on tip is fitted. Glue-on tips sit flush against the ferrule with no threaded fitting between the leather and the shaft, so the strike feels firmer and more consistent than a screw-in tip, which is why they are used on cues intended for regular play rather than occasional use. The rubber bumper protects the butt end from the knocks of being stood down between shots.
