Description

The Pot Black Shark is a 57in two-piece cue with an ash shaft, a brown butt and a chrome joint, aimed at beginners and casual players. The ash shaft is what lifts it above a plain hardwood cue — stiffer, so less of the stroke is lost to flex.

A 10mm tip is fitted, sitting between the narrow snooker diameters and the wider pool tips. That makes it a sensible choice where a table is used for whatever game is on rather than one discipline, since it puts enough leather on the ball to be forgiving of a slightly off-centre strike while still allowing side to be applied.
